Finex - Low Temp. Drying Plant

Finex Drying Plant is a low temperature drying application system which dries the material without altering the inherent characteristics of the raw material being dried. This application is used to dry heat sensitive materials.

Flock is a major raw material used in the manufacturing of Velvet which is used in car interiors, designer clothes, bags etc. Flock due to its low temperature bearing capacity can be dried up to a maximum of 60°C or 140°F. The Finex Flock Drying Plant can bring down moisture content from 40% to less than 2% without exceeding the drying temperature to more than 60°C.

The Low Temperature Drying Plant consists of the following items:

1. Dossing unit

The material passes through a dossing unit where in the material is agitated with the rotating impeller and blades which disintegrates the moist material having a moisture of 40%.

2. Blower

A high speed powerful Centrifugal blower is connected to a heat source; either a electric heater or a heat exchanger which in turn is connected to Anticyclones.

3. Anticyclones

The material passes through various anticyclones (4 numbers) so that it gets sufficient time to stay in contact with hot air thereby reducing moisture from the parent material.

4. Cyclone Separator

This is the final destination where dried material gets collected after passing through various anticyclones. By this time the material having moisture content of 40% is brought down to less than 2%. Drying effectively takes place at air temperature not more than 60 degrees centigrade or 140 Fahrenheit.

5. Rotary Air lock Valve

Rotary air lock valve will ensure that only the material is discharged at the bottom with the excess air being taken into the Dust Collection system.

6. Dust Collection System

All the excess air in the system is thrown into the atmosphere through filter bags provided in the Dust collection system.

7. Rectangular Grader (Optional Accessory)

The rectangular grader located below the Cyclone Separator sieves the material coming out of the drying system thereby making the complete system Inline and automated.
