Finex - Twin Pin Mill

Finex Twin Pin Mills are used for fine to finest grinding of dry, brittle or hard to grind materials to a fineness of 5 micron. Finex Twin Pin Mills are designed on the Universal Pin Mill concept with two rotating plates with concentric pins, rotating in same or in opposite directions. The material is fed centrically by a dosing mechanism and the grinding is done by impact and whirling between the concentrically mounted pin rows of the rotating discs. Particle size is determined by the speed, number and type of pins.

Applications

• Used for de-agglomeration, mixing and homogenizing chemical and pharmaceutical products as well as for cryogenic pulverizing applications.
• Because there is no heat generation, flavor loss or color loss, twin pin mills are excellent for grinding spices, foodstuffs, pigments, pesticides, stearates and fine minerals.
